Conference/Objectives
The Third international Conference on Natural Products and Human health (ICNPHH-2023) was
held at Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA), Catanduva, SP, from 9th to 11th October,
2023.
The conference promoted scientific network, research and training collaboration among
researchers, students and educators from Brazil and abroad on natural products and human
health fields.
Several lectures and short courses were given, which allowed for a rich exchange of
experiences. There was also space for oral presentations and posters.

About UNIFIPA
The Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA) is located in Catanduva, a city with 122,000
inhabitants situated in the northwest of the State of São Paulo (350 km from São Paulo), one
of
the most prosperous regions with the best quality of life in Brazil. The weather is pleasant
and
sunny and the city is known for its beautiful and colorful “ipê” trees, which bloom from
June to
November.
Teaching, research, community engagement extension and social responsibility are understood
as
fields of academic activity of Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA). With over fifty
years
of experience in the health and education, Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA) is an
institution maintained by Padre Albino Foundation, a philanthropic legal entity, founded on
March 27, 1968. Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA) has two campuses and offers nine
undergraduate courses; besides to postgraduate courses; medical residency and continuing
education.
On the main campus the offered courses are Agronomic Engineering, Biomedical Sciences,
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physical Education, Nursing School, Medicine School and Pedagogy.
On
the second campus, called the São Francisco Campus, two undergraduate courses are offered:
Business and Law School.
Living spaces, teaching and computer laboratories with modern facilities, two university
hospitals, libraries with specialized collections in the areas of health, education, human
and
agricultural sciences, specific environments for learning legal and business practices,
health,
sports and leisure, make part of the academic and administrative context experienced by the
students of the courses offered by Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA).
In the area of health, the Padre Albino Foundation maintains two hospitals: Padre Albino
Hospital and Emílio Carlos Hospital, besides the institution dedicated to assisting the
elderly
named Recanto Monsenhor Albino. The constant investment made by the Padre Albino Foundation
in
structure, technology and staff makes the Padre Albino and Emilo Carlos Hospitals centers of
reference in procedures of medium and high complexity, including the Burn Intensive Unit and
Oncology Services (Catanduva Cancer Hospital).
Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA) has also an Experimental and Clinical Research
Center
where postgraduate and multicenter research projects are developed.
